The Ramadan cricket competition, which will be held in Lahore, will include Pakistan captain Babar Azam, who is currently taking a break during the present Afghanistan T20 International series.
A number of national players will compete in the first-ever Ramadan competition, according to the tournament’s director and former Test cricketer Salman Butt, who revealed this in a press conference on Friday.
The Ghani Institute of Cricket (GIC) will be led by Babar in the competition, according to sources. Abbas Afridi, Usama Mir, Hussain Talat, and Shadab Khan will all be on his team.
Khawar Properties will be accompanied by Hassan Ali, Asif Ali, Arshad Iqbal, Mir Hamza, Haseebullah, and Irfan Niazi. Imam-ul-Haq, Bilal Asif, Tayyab Tahir, and Azam Khan will all appear in Karachi Warriors, along with Ihsanullah, Salman Ali Agha, Umaid Asif, and Ghani Glass.
For Blackstone Bahadurs, Sharjeel Khan, Mohammad Amir, and Aamer Yamin will perform. For H.B. Lal, action scenes starring Usman Qadir, Waqas Maqsood, Aamir Jamal, and Salman Irshad would be shown.
Khushdil Shah, Iftikhar Ahmed, and Umar Akmal will work for Eshal Associates, whilst the Center of Excellence will hire Mohammad Irfan and Ahsan Ali. Imran Butt, Bilawal Bhatti, and Abid Ali will make up Team Raja Sahib.
Up to nine teams will participate in a competitive tournament. The event’s schedule will soon be finalized. The athletes who will represent Pakistan versus Afghanistan will travel back to Lahore for the competition.
The Pakistan vs. Afghanistan T20I series will culminate on March 27 after three games. On March 24, Afghanistan defeated Pakistan in the first T20I to take a 1-0 series lead.
